Now Hiring: Careers in Code Enforcement

Some people prefer to work in an office environment and others like more variety and change in environment. County code enforcement officials get to do (and see!) something different every day. Working "in the field" and on the go no two days are alike. A career in this field has some added bonuses – like the opportunity to get to see some incredible commercial buildings and beautiful private residences and getting to know County residents. We even offer a program called Building with Our Veterans through Community Support Services that recruits military veterans who have building safety experience and construction skills. The program includes on the job training and education through Central Piedmont Community College. You can take a look at the opportunities available in code enforcement.
